As the title says. eBay says my authentic pair of Ararat’s are fake. Bought directly from adidas. Just a reminder when buying on the secondary market authenticity is never 100% guaranteed. If an authentic shoe can be marked as counterfeit, a fake and be marked as authentic.

I had eBay deny inspection on a brand new pair of KITH ASICS x men. The shoes were brand new with the card and everything but they told me they were worn. I made a video unboxing them from the return proving they were new. Showed in depth photos. Still kept their decision. I had to sell them as used even thought they weren’t. The issue is they inspect shoes at such a fast pace that even when they FUCK up their decisions are final. Their customer service will at least remove negative feed back but yeah it’s some bS

This one makes sense kinda. Because these were sold in mystery packaging right? So wouldn’t unboxing them mean unveiling what shoe they are, which is different than having bought them directly from Kith. I Guess this one just kinda make sense. Plus you can sell as open package on eBay and people will notice that in the listing 😅

You can appeal this decision especially since you have the original receipt which you can provide in the appeal. Not sure if they’ll overrule but it is an option

Will give it a shot, but after talking to a few people in the authentication department it seems they can do no wrong.

They told me my deadstock AM1 had been worn, even though they were obviously brand new. I asked for a further explanation and they just said no.

This is why I never got into the sneaker reselling shit. It’s all bullshit and sometimes the difference between real and fake are tiny little stitches out of place or maybe the wrong shade of blue type shit and at that point who tf really cares? I guess if you the person to flex on social media but even those people are clowns

Got did the same way for some NB 9060’s. I figured out it’s because I had aftermarket shoelaces in. But the pair it came with were still in the fuckin box.

They’re not saying it’s fake they just can’t authenticate it being that there are over 1000 brands tryna replicate foam runners and they’re simple
