Since you’re new to sneaker collection thing, here are my key advices-

    1. Pls do not dive too deep too early unless you’re having good amounts of monthly savings coz trust me you’ll start to buy sneakers much rapidly in the first few months than you think. Consuming too much of sneaker content early on, also leads to many regret buys later on.
    2. In the initial months, if you feel like indulging in sneaker contents, pls try to stay away from reddit and rather spend more time listening to sneaker content creators on YouTube, podcasts etc. On public forums, your sneaker préférences will get influenced in a skewed way depending on what’s hyped coz the people influencing you on these forums might well be some random excited newbies just running behind attention but the legit content creators will drive your sneaker knowledge and preferences in a sensible way covering everything from history and significance of sneakers to diversity of products of all brands.

Agreed to point. Some youtubers post shoe vids just to make money and don’t discuss shoes at all. On reddit, 90% of these folk are drinking the AJ1 and dunk kool-aid and don’t bother with anything else. I would say just review posts and see the trends.
