    Sorry, didn’t answer the question. Whether it pre- or post Soviet Union, it’s the same watch. Nothing changed. The factory workers sold shares in the factory to keep it alive and kept manufacturing the watches after the state stopped funding them.

    I have a lovely old gold dipped Sekonda which has made in the USSR on it from the 60s and it still keeps perfect time.
