I love the way my skin looks when I apply foundation using a wet beauty blender. However, I find them kind of gross to have around/try to clean and I really don’t like the idea of replacing every few weeks, since it seems to be creating a lot of waste unnecessarily. I’ve experimented with a few foundation brushes, most recently the Sephora 56, but find they typically give me a much higher coverage than I want. Currently using Fenty Matte foundation, sometimes Kosas and sometimes Chanel (CC cream). Any suggestions for other brushes to try/anything else I can do?

I have the Rare Beauty foundation brush and really like it! It’s a good combo of stiff but flexible bristles

I like my lys beauty foundation brush! It’s really dense and soft so it can give that beauty blender effect! If you want less coverage with a brush, what you can do is put the foundation on the back of your hand and swirl the foundation brush so that it’s coated with the foundation. And then remove any excess on a paper towel. 1 pump of foundation is a long way to go with a brush (I find that beauty blenders soak up product so you’d need more than one pump)!

Zoeva brushes are great - I use the 102 but tbh I think they’re all pretty decent. Way better than a beauty blender in my opinion.
