Why did my 1 week old moonswatch’s second hand suddenly stop? Is there a way to fix it or will it just go back to normal?
Average moonswatch owners be like
Yeah - things just magically fix themselves… 🙄
Shit I see on Reddit lately gives me pause in my faith in humanity. The other day in a hiking sub someone was asking if their shoes are worn out (with a picture of their soles). Those were adult shoes; how do you get to be an adult without knowing when your shoes are worn out?
Take it to an Omega Boutique, they’ll fix it for you.
Should be covered by Warranty, most likely they will give you a new watch Vs wasting time trying to fix a $50 dollar ETA quartz movement.
Are you talking about the large center chronograph seconds hand, or the small subdial seconds hand?
Many quartz chronographs have a function where the large center chronograph hand stops if left running for a long period of time, sometimes 1 hour, sometimes 12, etc. This is to preserve battery life, and they aren’t meant to be left running continuously.
