Hi everyone,

I’m pretty new to the watch game and I’m looking to buy my first entry/mid level Swiss automatic in the near future. There’s a few watches that catch my eye from Oris, Alpina, and Glycine. Specifically:

- Oris Pointer Date, or ProPilot

- Alpina Seastrong Heritage or Alpiner Regulator

- Glycine Airman GMT

Unfortunately I don’t live in a place where I can go check these watches out in person, so I was hoping I could get the more experienced peeps to chime in on how these watches/brands compare especially in terms of quality and finish. I’ve heard they’re all good but is one better than the other?

They all seem to have standard Sellita movements so probably similar performance/timekeeping?

Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts, pics below :)

Oris Pointer Date Bronze

Oris ProPilot

Oris ProPilot Bronze

Alpina Alpiner Regulator

Alpina Seastrong 300 Heritage

Glycine Airman GMT

Oris for sure in my opinion. Great independent brand with heritage and iconic designs. Note that the bracelet on the pointer date bronze will turn your wrist blue/green during the sweaty months. The case is steel backed so no staining if it’s on a strap.
