So I never was professionally typed, but many people in my life told me that I have a cool undertone, I also feel the most comfortable and confident in cool colors. I am also quite pale (I got a foundation from MAC which the MUA helped me to select and it‘s the studio radiance face and body sheer foundation C0), I burn easily and have blue eyes and dark blonde hair.

Now to my question, many nude lipsticks look almost sickly grey on me, one that really makes me sad is the mac velvet teddy which looks like a dark brown grey on me. What am I doing wrong? Is it because the lipsrick has warm undertones? Also which lipsticks might work better?

Thanks so much!

I don’t know if this helps but when I was trying make, they gave me c1 (if I remember the shade correctly) in f&b back in the day. For reference, very pale, blue eyed natural red head and burn in seconds. Always felt it made me too pinky and was told I have cool undertone due to redness in my face.

I’ve learnt I have a more neutral as also have yellowish neck. This maybe why the lipsticks look greyish on you. Try a neutral toned colour and see if that helps.
