Title speaks for itself!! When I do my eyeliner, it looks symmetrical (or symmetrical enough), and I make sure of this by looking at it in a big enough mirror to see both wings at the same time, but then if someone takes a photo of me it looks HORRIBLY asymmetrical. Same goes for if I for some reason see myself in a reversed mirror, or take a picture of myself and my phone flips it. Basically, to everyone other than myself it looks terrible; the wings aren’t even sisters, let alone twins. How do I fix this?

Do you have very round eyes? A kindly gay male makeup artist told me to only do a cat eye if I’m going to a breakfast at Tiffany’s party. As much as I love color and a party my eyes look best in true nudes and Smokey over Julia Fox-ey drama.

i check symmetry by using a camera and flipping it back and forth, inverted and not, while doing my makeup
