I said to myself that I’d try and get a Neptune just to be a bit silly. You know, plastic watch with plastic crystal in funky color. Horribly loud quartz and misaligned hands. And I finally got one and I stuck an Omega strap on it.

But I was driving my daughter to Starbucks (blegh) and I noticed that the blue is really quite pretty. The shade of the blue on the dial is almost like a Tardis blue! And the warm reflections on the acrylic crystal reminds me of my hesalite.

I think I might really like this, after all…
