Someone please explain this. Why are replica and fake watches completely banned from this subreddit and watchexchange but “Seiko Mods” are totally acceptable? Especially the ones where someone takes an aliexpress Seiko homage and just adds a genuine Seiko dial. How is that not just a fake Seiko? What if someone did that with a Rolex dial and just called it a “Rolex mod”? Where is the line in the sand? I have nothing against mods, it just makes no sense why one will get you permanently banned and the other is totally fine. Seems like two sides of the same coin to me?
