I would love to know what everyone is using. Welcome to suggestions as well.
Yes
I keeps the boxes in case I ever need to sell a pair for extra cash but other than that it’s just nice to have em
yes. I could buy shoe containers but thats just another added expense to an already expensive hobby.
Up until this year my place was too small to keep boxes (plus I’ve never sold a pair of shoes; always keep and wear), so I always trashed them. Now, though, I could keep them because I have more space, but honestly see no point.
I buy and sell alot of used, so i keep all the boxes i can. They help with value if resold.
So I have a shoe closet in my foyer where my main rotation of 30 or shoes goes. These include what I’m wearing that month, year-rounders, beaters, running shoes, boots, and dress shoes.
I have one section of my closet with 16 clear boxes which are my fit-specific shoes for that season. Shoes that aren’t everyday wear, but I’ll wear for seasonal fits.
I keep the original boxes of shoes that will hold their value, or GRs that I know I’ll only wear for very specific fits and I’ll probably sell by the end of the season. Also, I keep unique and one-off design boxes. These I display above my closet, and it’s where off-season shoes go (summer shoes in the winter, winter shoes in the summer).
Used to use them as park of my sneaker decor but my fiancé made me get rid of all of them. I’ve started keeping some of my new boxes though, getting ready for the next argument alresdy
