i was new to shoes back then. did not know much about anything at all, not even the most classic AJ1s

i went to a nike employee store and i saw this pair of Ben and Jerry Dunks on the “last size” shelf. i wondered to myself, who on earth would buy these cow shoes and i laughed at them with my friends.

6 months later after i had amassed some sneaker knowledge, i came across a vid showing the exact same pair of shoes that apparently were worth like 4 bands on the resale market. imagine my pain. I COULD HAVE GOTTEN THEM FOR A DISCOUNT.

I traded my AMM3 for the Yeezy 350 glow. I think about this almost every day.

Paying resell on the what the prods sb dunks on NOT 1, BUT 2 PAIRS! Like day 1 resell haha. I LOVE the shoe, and truly bought them as an investment and planned on holding for yearssss. I have a serious skateboarding background and was considering trying to get them signed and I still am, just wish I would have paid 900 for them.

Definitely letting go of some pairs for quick cash… Banned 1s, Yeezy Tan 1s, BIN 9s, DB 3s, Ray Allen 13s all come into mind…

Sold my DOOMS. At a ridiculous price, too. Far too low. Only a year and a half back. Needed the cash.

Looking for a pair again now. But the price is just bonkers.

I live the joyrides. For a while Nike had them on the bike by you. I made some but never ordered any. Nike discontinued the joyeides: (

Biggest sneaker regret is wearing Puma Uke when I was 10. Nothing will ever come close I suppose.

Selling my Anniversary Jordan 11s for some Fire Red 3s + $60. I really wish I would have kept those 11s man. Not to wear but just to have in the collection. Such a rare shoe imo

Just about any double-up I’ve ever bought. The idea that I’ll wear a pair of sneakers into the ground when I have a house full of them, AND that I’ll actually want another pair of the same old sneaker I’ve been wearing and not something new seems ridiculous to me now.

I put doom dunks back on the shelf at goodwill many years ago … 😔 not many people knew who MF DOOM was before he died and they weren’t worth anything. They wouldn’t have fit me and even though I was a fan I left em for someone else. Could’ve got em for like $40

I wish I didn’t wear & play my Kobe 9 elite low outdoors, but this is when I first got into sneakers. Then, before Kobe died, I returned my Kobe 4 protros.

Now, I can’t even get a pair and I’m definitely not paying $800 for ball shoes.

If I had known last year when I started what I know now: I regret getting placeholder beater shoes. Like, there’s some Dunk Retros on refurb Nike for like $60. That’s a smart beater, not the Court Visions I got.

Not trying for the Ben and Jerry’s or the Sean Cliver’s, I wouldn’t have hit anyway, but there’s a part of that thinks I would have.
