MAC was revolutionary back in the 80’s & 90’s. Truly the best… to be fair, some of that (or perhaps even most) was the fact that they were the first brand to give a fantastic shade range, and they also put a lot into training the counter people! I learned a lot at MAC counters, and pre-internet it was far harder to figure out how to apply makeup well if you didn’t have a natural affinity for it.
both are solid! also none of the armani foundations have ever let me down
the dior foundation is a dream but i will say it’s hit or miss for certain skin types. if the armani foundation works for you the dior will too. and to this day dior is tied for my favorite mascara- tied with lancome!
I finally tried MAC lipsticks for the first time this year and have been loving them!
At last I found my personal MLBB color in their Faux (I’m fair, cool toned, thinner lips, 30s, and needed something without brown). I don’t mind that it doesn’t last all day, because it isn’t super obvious, plus I love how it feels that I’m delighted to reapply/ touch-up, and I’ve never said that about a single makeup product ever.
They have several formulas and a solid color range. I’m happy for you that you’ve been enjoying Mac too
Mac is consistently great.
MAC is the best. They don’t get hype on tiktok because they don’t have flashy packaging, but they are quality.
