Per the title, I am looking for a watch without a battery that i can wear underground without too much care as it no doubt gets beaten up over time. Nothing too fancy, probably around $750USD budget.

A couple of options that I am currently looking at:

Tissot PRX 80 with black dial

Seiko 5 110th Anniversary Special Edition Watch - SRPK41K (Current leader except I am unsure about the “Hardlex Mineral Crystal Glass”)

Hamilton KHAKI FIELD MECHANICAL 42MM

There is also the Adina Automatic Underground Country Master Work Watch NK151 S2FB, but i am not really into the dial.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I’m not sure one crystal is inherently better. Mineral glass is easier to scratch, sapphire is easier to shatter.

I have a Hamilton and the lume is not very good.

A left field suggestion- Steinhart ocean vintage gmt. It’s a 70s Explorer II homage. The original was developed for spelunkers (though since it isn’t a Rolex is doesn’t have a true claim on the heritage). About 500 bucks, GMT, good lume and nicely built
