So I love the way lipgloss looks, but I HATE the way that my hair sticks to it. I have long, thick hair that I like to wear down so it’s unavoidable.

I wanted suggestions for lip oils. I don’t expect them to be as shiny and glossy as lip glosses, but something to make my lips look a little glossy. I don’t want thick oils or anything that would stick to my hair. Ideally drugstore oils because I can’t afford Dior or Fenty or Clarin 😭

Lip oils are just as sticky honestly

The most comfy gloss I’ve tried is tower28 lip jellies

Totally get what you are saying. I have a lot to say about Lip Oil, but I’ll start with Brush on Block’s Protective Lip Oil in Coral - it has SPF 32 in Zinc oxide and decent color payoff . It’s replaced my lip balm, feels like it absorbs well, and at $25, and it’s clean beauty!

I think the only lip oil that doesn’t cling to hair and is gross is ILIA, but they are $$ and don’t have SPF. Love the clean beauty aspect though.

NYX Fat Oil, Dior Glow Lip Oil, and Rare Beauty don’t have great color pay-off plus it feels goopy, like MAC’s Lip Glass almost (too thick!!!)
