I was putting on my foundation today and I remembered a tip from CosmoGirl (was Cosmo for teens, doesn’t exist anymore) magazine circa 2003ish: just don’t put foundation on your forehead, to avoid a “mask like look”. Do the whole rest of your face, and not the forehead. And the foundation they had as an example was full coverage.
What are your examples of wacky makeup tips (including real retro ones!)
Product overkill. Cream and powder bronzer? Cream and powder blush? Two different setting powders? 2 or 3 products on brows? Come on now… Influencers who are in the pocket of cosmetic companies are pushing this nonsense.
I like using creams and powders. it just makes me look better imo
