I was putting on my foundation today and I remembered a tip from CosmoGirl (was Cosmo for teens, doesn’t exist anymore) magazine circa 2003ish: just don’t put foundation on your forehead, to avoid a “mask like look”. Do the whole rest of your face, and not the forehead. And the foundation they had as an example was full coverage.

People should do eyeshadows according to their eye color. Just because I have brown eyes doesn’t mean I want to do green eyeshadow. I’ll do whatever colors I feel like doing that day.
