I was putting on my foundation today and I remembered a tip from CosmoGirl (was Cosmo for teens, doesn’t exist anymore) magazine circa 2003ish: just don’t put foundation on your forehead, to avoid a “mask like look”. Do the whole rest of your face, and not the forehead. And the foundation they had as an example was full coverage.

I think it was the one where it was recommended to use vagisil anti chafe as a primer or some shit- this was like a “testing makeup hack” video from the beauty community era of YouTube like 2016ish
