Okay guys and gals, I ran into a huge predicament. I am a freelance makeup artist but I moved countries. During my shipping process a lot of my makeup kit was lost in translation…I know. I have been actually very upset and depressed over this as I’m tight on money and doing makeup was one of the ways I wanted to earn an income in my new country.

The first thing I want to start acquiring again is a good set of makeup brushes that are reliable, pretty decent quality, and also affordable so I’m not breaking the bank.

If it helps, I moved from the US to Mexico. I still come back to the US about twice a year so I can get stuff there, but I also will be looking and buying in Mexico.

GO!

Elf, but only the ones that fade from black to white. The other ones are kinda shitty.

The ones I was looking at was a set of 17 brushes for both face and eyes. It looks like only two of them are as you described. The rest are all black. You wouldn’t recommend those? I believe I did have one powder brush from them that was black that faded to white and I really liked it! But I’ve never tried their all black ones.

I like Ecotools and Bdellium tools. But not the yellow handled ones from Bdellium though, those bristles always feel spiky to me.

I’ve used small art brushes before on myself for smaller details. I’ll definitely look into her recs 😊 thanks so much!

Okay soooo I just went to buy some from Ulta online because they’re on sale. I know I like these brushes because I use them on myself. Tell me why Ulta wouldn’t accept any of my cards and I kept trying and they kept denying even though I KNEW all the info was right? And I woke up this morning to like SEVEN pending charges from Ulta and my card was flagged for fraud?? And now their app won’t work. I’m annoyed.

May I add, Real Techniques from stores like Marshall’s. I just got a set marked at 21 in Amazon for 6 dollars. I don’t even wear that much make up but couldn’t let that pass
