Those Ispa designers are a bunch of crack addicts

Sneakers prices are getting out of control
Honest question- what makes these a $300 shoe?
ISPA is the brand Nike uses to test all its new technology. it basically goes all out on weird designs, new features, sustainable materials, with cost being secondary. think of it like their “concept cars”, where the actual car isn’t as important as what it says about demonstrating what the company thinks is worth focusing on in the future, testing what the public’s reaction to things would be, and so on.
Nike will always be relevant because they are Nike but man they have been flopping with new sneakers and collabs compared to New Balance, Adidas and even ASICS. It’s just so repetitive with a flood of dunks and Jordan’s and then weird ass overpriced shoes like this.
Agreed. I stick to retro Js from them, occasionally performance basketball (and now moved to serious players only) and that’s about it
It’s unbelievable to me that these things sell out.
Alien eggs the sneaker.
they look like they have blisters
These are one of the better looking ISPA models - though i still expect to see them filling up outlet shelves soon. That price is ridiculous.
Every time I see this line, I am convinced they are a special group at Nike that is tasked with how little cheap they can make a shoe while seeing how much someone will pay for it.
