Hey everyone. I’m wondering if anyone could share tips or insights on how to get one of those naturally flawless skin looks without foundation? That last part is what I’m having trouble figuring out online / trial and error. TIA!

Backstory:

I’m trying to figure out makeup for my skin, and my skin is generally really good except for the bottoms of my cheeks, which have some discoloration/redness. Which is why I’m looking for ways to do this without full-out foundation, since I feel like that’s heavier than necessary for my skin overall and I don’t want to risk clogging my pores with more product than necessary.

What I’ve Tried:

I’ve tried using concealer to cover up just those cheek areas, but even with shades that seem to match my skin perfectly I can’t help but feel like it’s kind of obvious that I painted those areas up. I can’t figure out a way to blend it out well. Is there a way?

BB creams and tinted sunscreens don’t really give the coverage I need for my cheeks.

I have a red nose tip and red cheeks, I use a Missha BB cream (red tube), with a beauty blender to sheer it out as a form of colour correction only in the areas I need. For me it works if the BB cream is darker than my actual skin tone, because it blends better on the red spots and should some come off the difference in colour isn’t stark (I have light skin). I actually use Iconic London gel bronzer as a mix in to get the best match, that way I can customise year round.
