I accidentally bought a pair of reps, I should’ve known seeing the price in hindsight, but in my opinion they still look pretty good. And so I was wondering if people actually cared, and if you saw someone wearing reps, would you think twice about it?
Majority of people are not sneakerheads, so will not be looking at your shoes, or will not be able to discern between retail or rep. As for the sneakerhead community, like any community, there are loudmouth dickheads that relish in “gotcha moments,” and others that don’t care. There are also people wearing reps who think they are top shit and want social status benefits that they believe comes with retail pairs, and thus a sneakerhead might humble that brat. At the end of the day, you can be called out for anything— band tees, type of car you drive, clothing brand, where you get your lunch from and anything else that can create instant gratification for the prick that wants to establish some dominance/social status tiers. I don’t care what shoes people wear. I collect and wear what I want, but I don’t police or try to force my preferences onto others.
