What’s the best primer to use when just using concealer and correctors?

On days like this I use: YSL brightening concealer pen (under my eyes) Haus Labs concealer (spot conceal) NYX color corrector palette

And what’s the best when you add foundation to the mix?

My routine for this is using the concealers and correctors along with my Haus Labs foundation.

I’ve tried the Benefit primer but I feel like I’m not using it correctly. Should I use it all over or just certain spots so my makeup lasts longer?

I also have my the ELF Power Grip + niacinamide primer. I’m not sure if I should try others or if I’m just using them ineffectively. I find that after just a few hours, my makeup looks cakey and/or it’s coming off and you can see all my blemishes.

Also, what’s the best way to cover-up a dry spot from a pimple. I’d love to see everyone’s suggestions!
