Hope this is the right spot. I tried looking in the FAQ and buyers guide a bit but figured talking with others may be more productive.

I am looking for a new watch- looking more so for function over form. with a price range of $100 or less.

I constantly work outdoors in some remote areas and am looking for something sturdy that it wouldn’t be a big deal getting muddy or other random junk on. I also lifeguard and would appreciate something that I can keep on while in the water and wouldn’t have to worry about damaging.

In the past I’ve found that metal straps are difficult because I have a pretty small wrist and removing the sections is usually a pain.

I’m not sure if there are any other factors that I should think about or consider but would appreciate help from the community thank you.

Not g-shocks - too bulky so they get caught/knocked on stuff and they’ve got shit legibility. And the plastic straps are sweat traps. And the buttons are a pain in the tits.
