Cool, does the leather look good with the nubuck, basically I’m just asking now that you have them in hand do you like the combination or do you wish you’d of done this or that, ya know what I mean. They always seem to leave out a color option on one of the panels, either the AM1 or AM90 has limited choices on the laces and or tongue which then limits what you can do with the rest of the shoe.
I’m very picky with nike especially. Haven’t bought many in many years until this round of IDs. They are wonderful. The nubuck and leather is pretty damn good with decent colorway options as well. I believe recently they removed the black nubuck from certain portions but nonetheless amazing.
I’m usually a suede and mesh on person but the leather works very nicely. It’s not the plastic feeling cheap leather they usually use this is more soft and forgiving. This pair I used alot of nubuck and mesh but I used alot of the leather on some toeboxes and certain portions of the other 7 pairs I made and im very happy. Great shapes as well. First time in many years I’ve bought so much nike
Did you use NuBuck on everything but the toe?
Everything nubuck except the mesh toe and leather tongue
