Okay to store shipping box and shoe box in closet? With a silica packet in shoebox.

I want to save my heat for later and use my beaters first.

Okay beaters are great, use them but sometimes just wear your heat also, keeps it different also sneakers tend to have a life about 5-7 yrs then the glue starts to come off and the leather can get damage too due to temparature they are in.

Forget the shipping box, just use your regular box, and make sure u put the box in a good place, I live in new york, and kept some sneakers in the basement, rats tore them parts

Unless if you live in a very humid climate and your closet is a very high temperature, you should be fine IF you wear your shoes to activate the glue. That is the biggest key. Don’t use silica packets, they do more harm than good.

Shipping boxes usually have a muggy warehouse like smell to them so I don’t keep them in my closet either my clothes. I usually just keep a few in case I need to ship something later. Regular shoes boxes in the closet has always served me well.

As your shoe collection grows rotate them. Keep a shitty pair for work or whatever you do and the heat every where else. Clean them every other time you go out depending on how dirty they get. Whole collection will look fresh and you’ll get your moneys worth when you’re wearing them and they’re not sitting in a box collect dust👍🏼
