I’ve noticed most brands don’t put an expiration date on their products’ packaging. This is super annoying because what if we’re buying an expired (or close to expiring) product? Or how do I know how long it lasts once opened?

When you workout with it on, making your face itchy. Or maybe that’s just coz I have sensitive skin 😅

The cost! Makeup seems to be getting way more expensive, and it’s not just high end brands.

Makeup fading and needing to carry around products to re-apply (even with a primer and setting powder + spray!) my skin is oily. Or forgetting I have eye makeup on and rubbing my eyes and looking like a raccoon !
I am so impressed by people who can resist rubbing their eyes. The first time I got a bunch of sample mascaras I decided to do wear tests on days when I stayed home. All it taught me was that no mascara wears well if you rub it into your skin!
The cost. Spent $70+ dollars on a concealer and a tinted moisturizer.
I work at Sephora and my biggest pet peeve is foundation ranges. I hate having to tell customers I can’t find their shade, and I know for a fact it isn’t me it’s the foundation.
Thank you for at least being honest! I was a teen in the 90s, when shade ranges were far worse than they are now. So many sales assistants on counters lied right to my face, insisting that their orange products perfectly matched my fair, pink skin. These days there are so many shades at the fair end of the spectrum that I’ve accidentally bought foundations too light AND too cool for myself!
If your makeup doesn’t go on right, or say, you poke your eye with the mascarra wand 😉 it sets the tone for the whole day. If your makeup goes on hard, your day is going to be hard. Lol
Definitely feel this with my eyeliner wings- some days you just cannot get it right no matter how many years of practice, and from that moment… you just know it’s going to be one of those days… 🙄

The fact that Kohl just gets all over, and I can not find an eyeliner that will stay in my water line. Not for love, money, hate or war.
I have searched for decades and spent tonnes of money on stuff that I have worn once. I put it on, and a few hours later I’m taking it off because it all just ran into my under eyelid.
Sigh!

The cost, finding the right shade, having to change your products because the weather changes (the cost again), trying new products that were the holy grail for people that just don’t work on your skin. It’s difficult finding what works with your skin.
