I love being experimental with my makeup. I’ll do a look, feel really confident in it, and want to share it with my friends. However, my makeup always looks like absolutely garbage in pictures. It really kills my confidence. Sometimes I think I’m just delusional. Like, does my makeup look bad in person as well and I’ve just tricked myself into thinking it doesn’t? Is there a certain way to capture makeup looks so they actually look good?
Ditto. Cameras do that! I layer 5 eyeshadows with full on blending, dimension, depth and in pics? Nada! Same for blush and contour, the face looks flat.
I’m just assuming that it’s more natural (and effective looking) in person and that’s what I care about more.
