Hi y’all,
I want to buy a keyboard cuz Amazon Black Friday started yesterday, and I came across the Epomaker TH80-X. Watched reviews, documented myself and discovered that this might be the perfect keeb for me. Priced at ~110€ since I have a coupon, I thought it may be a pretty good price for a budget keyboard with a built-in screen.
Then I stumbled upon the TH80 Pro. Instantly thought it was a fantastic keyboard, the knob on this one is smaller than the knob on the TH80-X which I do really like, but it comes with no screen. However, it is priced at 88€, which I think is a fantastic price for this board.
I think both of these are great options, but I really can’t decide. I would like to have a lil screen on my keeb, but is it worth the 22€ more?
If you plan on modding the Th80 pro it’s a pain in the butt to open. Not sure about the 80x though. Also Epomaker is just not a phenomenal company to support. Check out the Keychron V1 for about the same price
I would hate it having two keys on the right only. You apparently don’t. So go for it.
Not sure what a display is used for in a keyboard though🤷🏻♂️
That’s more a matter of taste I guess. Also take a look at Akko keebs
I looked at some Akko boards, but from Amazon they are all ISO, and I prefer ANSI
Don’t buy from epomaker
Why?
