I want to learn but there’s so much information it there and I literally have no idea where to start. Do I need to put makeup on my whole face or will just eye/lip makeup look good? How can I tell what styles will look good on me? Shades? What makeup tutorials are good to start with?
It’s such an art form and I’m always so impressed that so many girls can do it. I tried eyeliner once and it did not go well.

Think about it as a way to emphasize your best features and draw attention away from blemishes and uneven skin.
You could star with your eye look. Maybe pick up an elf mini palette in neutral colors to practice blending the colors together. Maybe an eyebrow pencil, some mascara and liner.
You can use a concealer to cover anything you want to hide. You can also use a pressed powder foundation for this.
You can use blush, highlighter and bronzer to sculpt your face, but this takes practice and trial and error as far as the right product and colors.
