How do you guys feel about putting an age limit on sneakers. I’m in my mid 30’s and some friends and co-workers make comments about me still wearing Jordan’s. I could careless and wear what I like. I’m just curious what this sub thinks about it.

I’m almost in mid 30’s and I’ve just started building my collection. Screw whoever says no. I still feel like a teenager lol

Don’t get why people give a damn about what other people choose to wear, especially if it isn’t hurting anyone and you enjoy it. Glad to hear you could care less about others OP, keep rocking them joints. Me personally, I’m 22 and getting shit for wearing sneakers. At 24, I’m packing it up for good because, unlike you, I’m tired of the judgement from my peers already but seeing people like y’all rocking heat on this sub everyday makes me feel slightly better. Keep doing what you doing OP.

Yea people are corny. Sorry to hear your gonna pack it up in a few years because of it. Maybe by then you’ll reconsider.

I’m a 47 year old woman and you will NEVER take sneakers away from me. I just finished a job in which I had to be with a group of younger people and they absolutely loved my collection. I felt so young again lol. Who cares what anyone says, wear whatever you want.

Never had anyone check my ID for buying sneakers. So I guess there isn’t an age limit in either direction.

Ha! I’m 51 and there is no way in hell that someone is going to make me stop wearing my ISPA’S, Forum low’s, AF1’S or my Cosmic Unity 3’s.

    Nope.

I have a lot of shoes from ballet flats to sneakers to heels to some wild designer sneakers. There is no age imho. People are weird.

There’s an age limit on when you should stop caring about other peoples frivolous opinions about your own life. You’re well past that age.

Pushing 40 and I wear Js on the regular. It’s usually bland people who can’t put together a fit who’d say stuff like that. The rest of us who can appreciate style don’t care.

Jordan 1s came out in 85, so if anything, they’re our generation’s shoes to rock.

I’m 48… Why do you care? You like what you like… Everything is made so who likes it, buys it… I’m not saying you personally, just in general.

Fuck that noise. I’m early-30s and now that I make decent money, I’m buying all the kicks I couldn’t afford in my younger years. Do you man.

55 here and it’s Jordans, Air Max 1 or Vans at work. However, I’m wearing cotton khakis almost everyday and work at a university. Suits and dress slacks days call for dress shoes.
