Sometimes, on ebay I’ll come across watches I’ve been looking for, but they’ll have scratches on the crystal, and some on the case.

Is it still worth purchasing a watch with crystal scratches, or just let it go until a better watch comes along?

Are original parts important to you? If it were me and I found a particularly rare watch I wanted at a good price, I’d have no problem getting the crystal swapped out and the case polished.

FIL has an automatic version. The gold plating seems to wear off with regular use. Too bling to my liking. I like 2-tone watches. I recommend that you save up and buy it new.
