i want a good curler. i feel like everyone i have ever had that rubbery pad wheres out and then it doesn’t work much at all. any good ones where the rubber lasts a long time? or perhaps and refills that are worth it? im guessing its a standard size… im also not looking to break the bank for this. thanks in advance.

I use Shiseido which is pretty good, but sometimes I feel a little too flat for my eye. It does get all my lashes tho. I’ve used it for a few months.

I also still use my Shop Miss A lash’s curler (the one with black grips.) It’s $1 and comes with a refill. I’ve used it for 1-2 years and the pad hasn’t worn out yet (note: I don’t wear makeup everyday.) It’s slightly rounder and a little longer than my Shiseido. It doesn’t get the corner of my lashes, but I don’t mind going through a few passes to get the curl I want.

Shiseido and Heroine Make. I’ve had the Shiseido for like 20 years and I think I replaced the pad (with the extra in the package) once. It wasn’t that the one pad wore out or anything like that, I just replaced it cuz it was recommended that it was regularly replaced. I basically saw no difference before and after replacement so I just never replaced it ever again. Still works just fine.

The Heroine Make I think I’ve had for a decade and never replaced the pad.
