I’m learning a very footwork heavy style of hip hop dance called Memphis Jookin and there’s a ton of moves that require spinning/stepping on my very tip of my toes. The shoes im currently using are some vans authetics and obviously the toe stability is almost non existent on these. When i try to stand on my toes they instantly crumple up hard.
Watch the first dancer on this video and notice how he’s stepping around on the very tips of his toes and his shoes don’t crumple much at all. I know he’s wearing some Air Force 1 Low Have a Nike Day’s, but they’re like 400 bucks and I’m looking for something stylish but cheap.
Why not go the cheap and easy route and take adidas superstars. That rubber part is quite sturdy, I’ ve used it for dancing and they held up well. Also, doesn’t wear out so quickly
