Hey guys. So I’m sort of a Jordan late bloomer. Interested in buying the Jordan 11 retro concord 11’ brand new but flightclub has the disclaimer- “This sneaker is vintage and may not be suitable for wear due to age.”
Might be a stupid question but how seriously should I take this? I was expecting to wear it occasionally when going out, treating it like the very nice sneaker it is and being conscious of where and when I wear it. But this disclaimer has me fearing the worst. Can anyone break down the disclaimer and the worst case scenarios for me if I bought this? Just trynna get a full perspective of the pros and cons and what to expect if I do buy and wear them. Thanks in advance!
I have these and still wear them occasionally. I just worse them Sunday as a matter of fact. Haven’t had any issues. Hope that didn’t just jinx it. The k ly thing wrong with mine is normal wear and tear.
I think they are trying to cover themselves from natural breakdown, things like 4s soles turning to cake.
Thanks for replying! When did you buy yours and from where?
The midsole can separate from the upper on older shoes. Some models the midsole will crumble but I think 11s hold up pretty well. (I have no older 11s tho)
If you like the concords, check out the upcoming release of the dmp’s or gratitude model
If the 2011 pair is brand new, don’t buy them. They are unwearable. If it’s used, you might still be able to rock them
I still have my 2011 Concords and they’re perfectly fine to wear. Don’t see why they would be any different.
I wouldn’t risk buying any DS jays that are older than 5 years
Why not just get the 2018s instead?
