Hi there, in the past 5 yrs, I got 3 fake shoes from different online retailers. If just looking at the appearance, they were surprisingly real and as a consumer who never seen authentic ones, it’s so hard to tell. I found one way to check which is just wearing them. I felt uncomfortable right away. I have been wearing Nike shoes for more than ten years, but have never had ones uncomfortable. What you guys think?

I don’t think uncomfortable vs comfortable is a good way to verify, seeing as there’s plenty of sneakers that are uncomfortable real or not, such as 4s

I have retails and reps of the same shoe. They don’t feel any different. The appearance is the difference, but they need to be side by side if it’s a quality rep

Yea I don’t think you can tell if a sneaker is real or not by comfort alone. Reps nowadays are made in the same factory as authentics with the same materials and specs. The only way to know is by obsessing over the smallest details like the stitching, shape/color/box comparison, the smell test, or using blue light to potentially expose guidelines.

Another way is to find imperfections. If you see a lot of glue stains, chances are your pairs are authentic.
