I have a bad tendency to misjudge how much cream blush to put on and it makes me look clownish. I really like Cheek Heat but looking for more colors

I only wear cream blushes so my advice to you is start light and build up. Just dab on a small dot and blend. If it’s not enough color for you dab on another dot. Don’t do like the commercials and swipe a huge swath across your cheek.

For some reason I’m having trouble thinking of sheer blushes so I’ll do the opposite and tell you a few that are highly pigmented so you can steer clear. Ciate London and Rare Beauty blushes are so pigmented I can only use the tiniest dot and even then it shows up heavily. Colourpop blush sticks are also pretty pigmented, although easier to build up with those.

to prevent applying too much on your face:

apply it to the back of your hand first, then dip the brush into that and then tap lightly onto your face. This allows max control and to work in layers.
