    And it works pretty great

As a linear fan, hall effect switches are amazingly smooth

I’d just love to see it in a gasket mount config and with a more flexible plate

I have a drunkdeer while I wait for HE to get figured out as far as switches and standards, but I’m a tactile bump user. Rapid trigger is a game changer, but we’re in the “catch-up” phase and the posts are getting a little stale

What do you mean waiting for the HE to get figured out for switches and standards? I think the drunk deer’s switches sound better but what else are you waiting for?

The plate can’t be that flexible because the tolerance for those hall effects switches are so precise that any flex might trigger them. Remember, you can adjust the actuation on the down to 0.1mm, that not a lot.

Flexier plates can be used but you still definitely need the standoffs. Currently using my wooting60he with a PP plate. Obviously it won’t be as flexy but it’s still softer than a steel plate
