Hi all, I have trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder) which means I struggle with pulling out my eyebrows, eyelashes and hair on my head. My right eyebrow tail is mostly missing so it makes it hard to shape my brows especially considering I’m still a makeup newbie. I’m not sure how to go with shaping/drawing it correctly. Any advice helps thank you!

Take a look at Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products (they’re having a nice sale right now for Black Friday / cyber Monday too 💜).

I personally like (and have used) the brow powder duo and the angled brush (I think I have the mini but the firm double ended looks like it might be handy depending on how you store your brushes). I also like the highlighting duo pencil, but i don’t think it’s an absolute necessity while you’re beginning makeup (keep your makeup system simple where you can until you’re comfortable venturing into other ideas). The “perfect brow pencil” looks nice too but I haven’t used that before. There are also stencils included in one of the kits, but I’ve only used those maybe twice.

I would also look through reviews and editorials on YouTube, but it may be more important to try and let your eyebrows grow out some so there is some eyebrow to shape.

If it helps, I have trichotillomania as well; I diverted my habit toward the hair on my arm and the fine hairs on upper lip when I needed to let my eyebrow hair grow in (I didn’t pull on lashes).

    Good luck 🍀😇
