So earlier i oppened the Beauty blender/face sponge ( im confused about those 2 ) that my mom bought for me from delivery. i decided to put hot water in a cup, then dipped the sponge in it… (The sponge came with a container because i wanted it to have one) ofcourse i squeezed it then let off all of the water inside, The thing is, i put it back into its cointainer when it was still moist. (Which is mostly the part where im wrong)
Later my mom came then asked me why it’s still moist, i told here the things i did then she blabbed/scolded me about how you’re not supposed to wash “freshly delivered” Sponges and how it will give me a face infection now that I’ve washed it.
Was there something i did wrong? Is my mom right? If she is, please do enlighten me about sponges. (P.s excuse my bad grammar I’m asian)
I’d be more worried about it being dirty straight from the factory. The most important thing is to make sure it can dry fairly quickly after use. Wash it, wring it out, and let it dry. A damp sponge that stays damp is a nice home for mold.
