At first I thought this was a completely 3-D printed keyboard. Caps and all lol. Maybe it’s the lighting and blank keycaps
thought this was an FC660C for a min
actually thats what i thought of before this, but it having no lighting, a silly usb cable and also being sold out was a dealbreaker.
Congrats friend 🤙
Sweet! Been thinking of getting that same set but I’m hesitant to pull the trigger on blank caps… for symbols it must be a pain in the ass!
I was also hesitant, and i prepared for 1-2 painful weeks of adjusting. To my surprise it all felt natural very quickly (the day I built it I already typed confidently). Looking at the keyboard still helps me. I have most of the stuff in my subsconscious and muscle memory I guess.
About the caps: some of them has a shiny dot thats about 2-3 mm in diameter. This is visible under very bright light, and as I have a 65 layout I had a bunch of spares to swap the ones that look awful.
If you look at them from the bottom, the edges arent perfect. You can see that mark that is many things that are made from plastic and separated from the tool they were made with (idk the name). But once you insert them in place, this will become 99% invisible.Considering that other options were at least 60 euros, but more like 100 and upwards, I don’t regret choosing this at all. After all it’s 33 euros, matte black and cherry profile (I wanted this because it was less tall compared to other styles)
Thanks for the reply! I’ll probably end up buying it at some point just to try it out myself. Looks really clean.
