I’ve bought many things from Novelkeys and always thought their shipping was ridiculous. Today I added the nk87 entry edition. with switches and total was 70$ but then shipping was 28.70$.
I looked on Reddit and seems people have talked about this years ago. How have they not improved this over the years?
Thoughts?
I’ve always had very fair rates from NK, but I’m in the Midwest. I doubt they have much say over what the shipping company charges.

They’re based in West Virginia and it’s not like they can force UPS/USPS to lower their rates.
Most companies that offer ‘free shipping’ increase their item prices to compensate.
So long as the total cost paid is something you’re aware of I think it’s a perfectly valid (and more transparent) way of doing business.
Also I love Novelkeys because they have a logistics team who can offer prepaid Fedex shipping so I don’t have to deal with surprise brokerage, duties, or sales taxes when my shipments arrive to Canada.
the nk87 is also pretty heavy
