What’s your opinion on why the 3 fear are sitting? I figured they would have sold out so fast but it looks like everywhere still has it in stock. I’m debating waiting a few days to see how low they drop on goat before picking up a pair under retail.
Do you want them to be out of stock? If you want them, buy them. If you don’t, don’t buy them.
Idk but they can keep sitting. I’m broke till after the holidays so I don’t mind that they’ll either still be in stock, or under retail at resale when I can finally get em.
Would you prefer if they were standing?
I feel like some of y’all rely on opinions of others far too much.
Who cares if the shoe is sitting ? But what you like. The resale price isn’t always dependent on whether or not it’s selling out either
The orange looks shit
Yeah. The orange.
Trying to find an orange hoodie now. Lol. Nike doesn’t have that exact “total orange” far as I can tell, in fleece. Doesn’t have to be perfect I guess. Lol.
Could look for a blue hoodie, Blue compliments Orange.
I wanted them until I found out they took out the quote on the insole. I know it’s a petty thing, most of the time you won’t even see it, but the way Nike is making people pay more for less just irks me. The quote is why the pack was named “Fear”. If you gonna re-release it then why took it out? Make no damn sense
A lot of good input for sure. For myself I’ve always enjoyed the shoe game but never could afford it as a kid (was the 2 pair of shoes for a year type growing up) and now my business is stable I can finally spend some money on the hobby. Retail doesn’t bother me, I usually just buy what I like. But the business mind of me will always save a few bucks on resale if it’s below retail.
Also $210 is steep
The amount of drops from Nike has increased as have their production figures. This is most likely due of several factors.
Nike didn’t foresee the drop off in demand. Who can blame them as the economy pivoted rather quickly as they were mostly likely increasing figures. One of those reasons for them to increase figures was probably to fight against sneaker reselling.
Nike is a public company and return to shareholders is a top priority. When the economy did a 180, they figured it would be hard to comp the prior year figures. Why not increase supply and pump that to retailers for sales, trying to match last year figures?
At least in Canada, before and during Covid, banks were offering stupid deals on variable mortgages such as prime minus 1.25. People locked in won’t be impacted until renewal, which is going to be a shock, but those with variable rates are experiencing what can be large increases in their payments. This comes at a time when a lot of people are being asked to repay the support they received during Covid.
Nearly everything else is more expensive. The average basket $ at the grocery store has increased substantially. Going out to eat now costs substantially more. With Christmas around the corner, buying those gifts in most cases is going tocosts a lot more than it did even a year ago.
Obviously there is more but, those are enough to make the vast majority of wallets pucker up.
Got my pair, but QC doesn’t seem that great, got a few scruffs like weird pinhole like dots on the midsole.
Yeah same. Mine look like scratch on the toe box or something. Nothing crazy. Just not perfect.
most 3s sit
It’s 2023 bro not 2021. Times have changed. Nike produces like everyday now.
Honestly, I just don’t like the orange details on them. The noir 3’s was a way better looking shoe imo, but the reason they’re sitting is probably because how many drops there is this month. The craft 4’s, AMM 5’s, Gratitude 11’s, April Dunks… whole lotta drops
Seeing such posts makes me think if people nowadays mostly buy a pair of sneakers, because they are hyped and for the dopamine rush when you score a W on such hyped shoes.
Recently Nike/Jordan have begun to make much high quantities of shoes. If you take a look, besides the limited collabs most shoes are now selling under retail.
