I’m 23 and I really wanna get into makeup more seriously but I’m so lost on what to buy. I obviously don’t want to buy everything, especially because I have a sensitive skin and I’m leaning towards better quality/more expensive brands. So far I’ve ordered: lipstick, lip liner, eyeshadow, eyebrow pencil, and foundation. I know I need an eyeliner and primer. What else? I see all these bronzers and luminizers and concealers… I don’t really need them all, do I? And do I need a different primer for eyes? I see those sold separately. If you also have any recommendations for application tools I’m super happy to hear about that too. Thanks a bunch!

Honestly, your fingers are really great tools in regards to things like blending and application. Don’t let people tell you that you need a dozen brushes to be able to do a make up application well. That said, if I had to recommend the basics, I would say a large fluffy brush for powder, a couple of brushes for eyeshadow, and a brush for eyebrow powder. I think you’ll get away with four brushes.
