Anyways, I’m mostly a cap toe Oxfords kinda dad guy in my 40s. I have 4 pairs of Adidas ultraboosts in grey and black in the name of sneakers as they’re comfy and don’t stand out.

Anything slightly more adventurous I could wear once in a while with jeans that you lot recommend? Preferably something from Adidas - I have a $50 gift card to be used and there’s Cyber Monday going on.

    For adidas, I think the sambas in on the rise, but it’s quite flat - pretty different with ultraboost. You may also try their new 4DFWD technology which I think it’s pretty cool. There should be a new silhouette for FOG collab soon, but there is no date yet.

    I’d go with the Superstars. They’ll look real nice with jeans. The Sambas are too low of a profile and are literally an indoor soccer shoe. The Superstars are more of a casual shoe and have a little more meat to them.

    The Wales Bonner Samba if there are still any available, or maybe a colourful pair of Indoor Gazelle. But maybe look for other brands as well like ASICS, Saucony or Diadora.
