I really want a pair, but $230 is kinda up there & I’ve spent a lot on shoes recently. I’m considering going for the GS (I’m an 8.5W / 7M or 7Y) simply because they’re cheaper.

My only concern is that the shape can sometimes be different on the GS shoes. Like the proportions can look a bit different, or at least I notice that with my J1s. Thoughts on adult vs gs of the 11s?

I will shell out more if I have to, but saving a bit of money is appealing!

I am also a size w8.5/m7 and twice I’ve tried to get 7Y instead of 7M in both Dunks and Jordan 1’s and both were too narrow. I know it’s not 11’s but I hope that helps! Also GS proportions look weird and they often use lesser materials.

I am also a 7M/8.5W and I would not. Quality is garbage in gs compared to men’s. And some subtle differences, specifically the height of the 11s. Grade school 11s height make them look like mids.

Nike QC isn’t the best these days overall, but it’s a major step down from Adult to GS imo. I’d definitely take that into consideration. I do agree that pricing is steep though. Even more insane is that the new 6s coming out are at $250.

Nobody has mentioned it, but adult post-2015 AJ11s have higher cut patent leather compared to GS AJ11s, which have the lower cut patent.

GS looks more like the pre-2015 release AJ11s with the lower cuts.

No. Don’t do it. Grade School shoes have the cheapest quality leather and rubber than the rest. Nike knows what they’re doing. They only use the best materials on their best selling shoes. It makes sense. Shoes that aren’t that popular or made for little kids will have cheaper quality.
