My dad inherited some of the personal possessions of a friend of his who passed, and among those possessions were, actually, a lot of watches, but in particular, this one. I don’t know anything about watches, and neither does my dad, but a quick google search suggests that this one may actually be somewhat valuable. My dad isn’t interested in keeping the watch, so I’m assuming selling makes the most sense? But that’s why I’m here. Any info, resources and suggestions anyone may be able to offer about valuing/marketing/selling watches—and about anything related to watches, actually—is really appreciated. I live in Vancouver, Canada in case that’s important.
More info on the watch: it appears to be unworn given the fact that the leather strap is stiff and seemingly un-broken-in. The second hand is ticking. The back is a little scratched (I think you can see the scratching in one of the photos), but the front glass appears to be unaffected. The watch came in small plastic bag. We don’t think we have a box or anything else to accompany the watch. Also, the product code is A47362.
