What press-on nails do you like/not like?
I’m making the switch from acrylics and don’t know where to start.
Also open to other solutions—I prefer something low-maintenance that will stay on for ideally 2 weeks and takes less than 20 minutes to apply and dry.
I like glamnetic and Btartbox off of amazon.
If you’re open to other solutions: I got a gelx kit from Amazon for pretty cheap! There is definitely a learning curve. I do sometimes still get gel extensions done at a salon (I bought tips to use, but I can’t get the hang of it. I gave it an honest try), but then I do my own fills at home.
I have the UV lamp, a small set of gel polish, and some nail files. I’ve tried dip powder kits before and I did enjoy those for a year before I got on the gel train.
kiss acrylic brand , make sure you’re filing your natural nails down. i use gorilla glue when i do press ons because im extra but if you prep your natural nails properly they will last 2 weeks
i also like glamnetic and kiss. if you have a file, you can file the base of the nails (not the tip cause that could ruin the design. file the part close to your cuticle) and the sides for a better sized fit on your nails
Static nails are my fave. I have tried the various kiss options and can’t do them. Maybe I’m spoiled by Static but they are so good.
I have tried all kinds of nails from all kinds of brands! I personally love dashingdiva magic press nails… I use super glue before applying them (sold separately) and they stay on way longer than just regular super glue or just pressing them on!
I use Kiss. I lose like 4 nails the first few days and then once they are all on good, they last up to 3 weeks!
I spray with alcohol every night to avoid fungus and what not.
