I’ve bought two products from nyx and both have either been discontinued or the formula changed completely.

Was so excited to FINALLY find products that worked for my olive skin tone only to have to start my search all over again.

Anyone feel the same?!

In Memoriam:

NYX Lip Liner, Nude Beige (2023)

You will be greatly missed.

I feel the same about NYX. The only thing i will continue buying from them is their glitter glue.

Juvia. Their eye shadows and liners and whatnot were great, but when I bought some skin care stuff from them, both products caused a burning reaction on my face and eyes. I had to throw them out, and when I emailed their costumer service no one ever got back to me. I don’t appreciate that, so I stopped buying their products…

NYX we are looking at you!!

Bought a red lip liner from them that was also not nearly the quality as my older pencils from them. The swatch was even a different undertone than described.

I miss Bear With Me Too!! Took ages for it to be available where I live, bought one tube & fell in love, now it’s never to be heard from again ☹️

Colourpop? The highlighter and eyeshadow are ok but the lipstick’s formula are so inconsistent. Some are dry and patchy and some are great

Yes, for years I bought Clinique eyeliner because I have sensitive eyes and wear eyeliner everyday. The last few times I’ve bought the wind up intense they were dry as a bone. Also they are wonky on their lipsticks. One minute they have a large selection then boom down to 5 shades I’ve written them and no response. Bye Clinique!

Also I have to say Urban Decay used to have an incredible selection of lipsticks, no more. Same with their single eyeshadow, poof down to Cowboy it seems. I’m fed up with many brands (mini rant) Laura Mercier used to have some great standbys. No longer and NYX at one time had so many lipsticks in all finishes. No more. I’m disappointed In Cosmetics. I’m a young boomer and realize most makeup is geared to a generation or two younger than me but still sniff sniff cry

I started wearing makeup only 2-3 years ago (spent the first months of the quarantine learning, mostly from online tutorials and forums), and I went and bought the NYX Butter Gloss in Cinnamon Roll after having read rave reviews. I was SO confused when Cinnamon Roll turned out to be absolutely not what it sounded like online, it was half invisible half unflattering on me, and I decided this was clearly because I was a noob and hadn’t understood the online lessons as well as I thought.

TWO YEARS LATER I find out that Nyx absolutely discontinued a popular shade, put out a completely different shade with the same name, and then renamed that shade something else and sent back the original… and I happened to be one of the people who picked up the mistake and had no idea! 🤯 How does such a big drugstore brand do that?!

I still have my un-Cinnamon Roll which I’m now holding on to in the hopes that it’ll be worth millions one day. What are the odds for that? 🤞🏽
