Casio M5610U with a metal mod I picked up for $99 and I love it! Pick up and go with never a care for durability or accuracy. World time across 5 presets, that you can swap back and forth with your home time at a press of buttons, solar powered, and radio receiving for auto updating of time and date.
What’s your cheapest watch in your collection?
For Casio it is probably the Casio royale :).
The best cheap Watch: My Casio F-91W 👍🏻
Yes ☝️
Mine runs -3sec/day.
I use it as a dirty job watch but need to reset it every few weeks :(
It’s a great watch otherwise but I’d have expected more from quartz
👍🏻
That’s what I’ve got. It’s my work watch because it’s so small, slim and light and my watches get fucked at work. So this one stays out of the way more and can still take quite a beating.
Gshock 5610,around $110 brand new
A green Seiko 5 sport SNZG09K1
Timex Expedition. $11 new. Great watch. Loud as hell.
I ordered an F-91w lookalike but purple for $1.79 out of curiosity. I haven’t worn it yet but the other cheapest is an F-91w I got for $7 at a store near me that likes to put the wrong price on everything. I’ve bought 5 G-Shocks there for as little as $50.
My collection of Swatches.
Fun fact : people tend to believe SWATCH stands for “Swiss Watch”, which it doesn’t. It’s “Second Watch”, the marketing purpose being to make an affordable watch for people to wear in every days life without wearing to much of their mechanical watch. The main purpose being to save the Swiss mechanical watch industry from the Japan induced quartz crisis.
$2 thrift shop Tissot from 1950
Casio F91 I paid $9 for.
My Databank.
$20 shipped Casio Illuminator & I love it
Accurist. A British brand, I think.
